June 2012 Weddings

Entrance Song

In the stress post, a lot of you were talking about ceremony music, so I thought this may help a couple out and help me out too. I'm trying to figure out which song to walk in to.

These are all on the guitar, no vocals and I would only use the first 1:30-2 minutes of the song (where ever there is a nice break around that time).
Marry me

So which one should I do? My FI is secretly in love with the asian kid (river flows in you and love story), but I think love story maybe a little too fast and the other one is from twilight, I think.

ETA: The names are clicky so you can hear the song.

Re: Entrance Song

  • I am walking down the aisle to Marry Me being played on the guitar (no vocals).
I heard it instrumental and just loved it.

  • I'm walking down the aisle to FI's cousin singing "Marry Me".  She is going to school for vocal and opera and has a beautiful voice.  She's so excited because she wanted to sing it at her sister's wedding last summer but the people at the church didn't think it was "church-like".
  • I like Marry Me. I'm not familiar with it, but it's pretty!
  • I am walking down the aisle to Marry Me as well, so that would be my pick!

  • When I was a BM the bride walked in to Marry Me and it was so pretty and sweet I almost started crying. I definitely vote Marry Me!

  • I'm not 100 percent sure yet, but I think I'm going to walk in to Feels Like Home by Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and Dolly Parton. I just have to figure out how I can make it through it without crying. It's a great song.
  • I LOVE River Flows in You, so beautiful and it made me cry imagining walking down the aisle to it.
