Speaking of silly milestones...

Somebody posted a while back about silly things like getting excited because the eggs expire after your wedding day (TOTALLY guilty of that, by the way).

So I was just writing out my June rent check and all of a sudden I thought, "hey, this is the last rent check I'll write using my unmarried name!" And got all excited.

hahaha I posted on here in the last week or two about being excited about the expiration date of our yogurt being just before the wedding, and I honest to goodness had the same thought when I put the money aside for our June rent. It's the little girl side of me coming out.

ETA: I got more yogurt today that expired ON our actual wedding day. I got all excited and tried to explain to the kids that we COULD wait to eat this yogurt on the big day if we wanted. They got confused and asked for spoons.

Today I had to take my car in to get its oil changed and tires rotated. My family have been going to the same place for years so the main person knows me by name and knows that I'm getting married. As I was paying the bill he went and changed my last name in the computer. It made me smile!
