We finished designing our invitations and put in the order yesterday! I'm so excited to see how they're going to turn out.

Here's my inspiration picture:

They are beautiful! I have been meaning to post ours for awhile. We have them designed, just have to order! Here is a sample of our invites(without our real names).

We also have met with the baker and have decided on cake flavors!  We are having a simple 3 tiered cake with fresh flower accents. Our cake flavors are going to be key lime, strawberry and peach. I am in love with her cake it is delicious! She will also be making cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner which will be red velvet and chocolate peanut butter fluff!!

This weekend we also decided on BM dresses. I decided to go with DB because it would make it easy for all the girls to order their dresses since they are all over the east coast. The color the dresses will be in is Jade. I am hoping to find some simple peep toe nude heels for the girls to wear with it.

I am so excited to have so many decisions made!! Can't believe it is less than 5 months until we get married!

I order a sample pomander in baby pink from Etsy. It should be here in the next couple of days so we can make our final decision.



We decided on an Etsy dealer to make our "letters" for the backs of our chairs (double as props!), the large "O" for a tent decoration and a white wreath for my parents front door. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!



Still waiting on the invitation estimate from the marketing department....*sigh*

I sent in our deposit for rental chairs for ceremony. I can't believe how expensive they are for just the 20 mins we need them. but I got the best deal we could! $640 for 200 chairs set up and teardown. Tonight, we are going to look at the hotel for guest rooms and possible after party at the hotel bar. And we are going to look and maybe order wedding rings too!

Love the invites ladies! Ours came yesterday! We used a groupon with Vistaprint - they were delivered to FI though so I haven't had a chance to see them yet! Hopefully tonight

We had our second tasting last night and decided to go with the first baker.  We're already moving forward.  Hooray!

And since I didn't see the thread from yesterday until the end of the day, I'm going to AW and share this again.  I'm having a poster for our guest book and the artist who is creating it send a draft the other day.  She hasn't added trees and there's a small change in wording that has to be done, but I'm really liking how it looks!

Last night I was able to do the following:

-Stuffed invitations/inserts into inner envelopes
-Wrote out our return address on 50 of the envelopes. Boy is it time consuming.

I did a floral consultation over the phone yesterday, and got the quote this morning. Not bad, but hopefully we can switch some things out or scale things down to get it a little cheaper.

We haven't ordered our invites yet (waiting for parental approval) but this is what we've come up with (from magnetstreet). We liked how we were able to incorporate all of our colours (orange, green, white, and grey), and tennis!

We booked our reception hall this morning, so now I can finish the website and enclosure cards with accurate information! All invitations have been printed are half-way through being cut to size!

We picked our table linen, napkins, chairs, and plates last night!

- Sent inspiration pictures to both of the florists I'll be meeting with next month.

- Confirmed a second shooter with our photographer.  She's not an intern or anything like that, she actually owns her own photography business so I feel really good about it.  Her website is professional and her pictures look great.

- Received our C&P order of the panels and envelopes.  I'm still waiting on my paper sample, so I can't start printing and putting them together yet, although I may begin my printing out our address labels for the RSVP envelopes and the wrap-around labels for the main envelopes.

- Contacted our WC at the venue to set-up a meeting the day I go for my hair trial.  I'm waiting to hear back from her.

- FI agreed to take on finding an officiant.  I hope he starts making calls this week since I gave him the list.

-I ordered a yard of the fabric that my BM dresses are in (Bill Levkoff) because we're wrapping the stems of their bouquets with it.  It will only take 4 weeks to come in.
-While ordering the fabric, checked on BM dresses which should be in in about 3 weeks
-I forgot to post this on Sunday, but I asked my grandmother if I could borrow my grandfather's wedding band as my "something borrowed".  He passed away over 4 years ago.  She started to cry which made me start to cry!  Of course she was very happy and said I could borrow it.  I plan to tie it to my bouquet.

I already posted earlier today but I feel so much more relieved now.  

We met with the hotel coordinator, we got a good rate for the hotel block. We will have the hotel shuttle reserved for our guests to take to and from the wedding.  And they have a late night option, we can reserve the bar at the hotel for our guests from 10-2 am with only a $150 drink minimum.  I feel so much better now that we have the hotel figured out, so my family will stop bugging me!

And we looked at wedding bands again, I picked out the same one I liked last time.  FI is still thinking between 2.  Once he decides we will got order them.

Before work tonight I approved the proof of our invitations/enclosure cards. I can't wait to ge them in the mail!!
