Invitation Tracking

Are you ladies doing anything to track your invitations? I was looking for the thread earlier and I can't find it.

Nope.  All my guests received STDs and know when I'm sending the invites out around so they kinda know when to get one.  If they don't I'm sure they'll call or ask about it.

Same as MM. Everyone got a STD and know the general area of when they'll get their invite. How can you track an invite?

IDK, I could have sworn I saw something about it like a month ago.

Most of my guests got an STD, but no one really responded to them like I assumed most would....

The only thing I can think of to track invitations would involve numbering your response cards so you know who has and hasn't responded yet, in case they don't put their names down.

Aside from that, I have no idea how it would be done.  I am doing the above suggestion, though!

Oh so am I. With out a doubt. I have them all numbered. haha.

I have to remember to do the # the response cards & write down what belongs to whom because some have come back to others with no names. 

I would not be tracking them, i will phone those who have not rsvp'd

You could number them or have a pen that shows up with black light to number them.....sometimes invites get sent back with no name or you can't read their writing....I bet I will end up numbering them on the back. I bet the guest won't even notice the number

I, too, am numbering the back of my response cards. If I don't get a certain number back, I know who exactly to call. I put the number next to their name in my excel spreadsheet.

To me, a STD doesn't really require any type of response by the recipient. If I get one from a really close friend, I might send a quick text to say I got it and that I think it's cute or something, but otherwise I don't do anything.

Just call anyone who doesn't RSVP--they'll let you know then if they never got the invite.

I guess you could purchase a tracking number for all of them, but that would be silly. :P

I really hope I remember to number my RSVPs.... Knowing me, I will forget.

We are keeping a checklist so we know who we invited and who has responded, but other than the numbering the response cards- that's it.
