hey girls!
I'm new to this board so I thought I'd introduce myself.
our original date was in October (of 2012) but we went through some rough financial times and were not sure if this is the best time. so we put it off indefinitely.
until recently we changed our minds and decided to just roll with it and make it simple and sweet regardless of situation. so we picked a new date, new ideas, new mindset and new attitude

now we're scheduled for June 23rd, 2012!
I know we only have 3 months to plan, which is kind of crazy, but it's doable. I found my dress on my first visit to a new, family owned consignment store in my area!
we both currently live in Indiana, so if there is anyone else from the area, I'd love to chat sometime!

I think it's great that you've decided to move ahead regardless. You're wedding will be beautiful. What do you have planned so far? Where you able to carry over some of your October ideas?

we both currently live in Indianapolis, but I'm originally from Latvia (far up north in Europe..). He's a local, though.
So far I have:
1) gotten the locations down. we have a pastor in the family so that was a no-brainer. our first pre-nup session is on April 13th. The reception will be for the family members only at a private dining restaurant.
2) Invites are halfway done... need to finalize what time the wedding will be, print and assemble. (got the paper for free a while back though)
3) the dress has been found, needs to be picked up. unfortunately I don't have any pics yet, but I'm going back to the store next week and can snap a few then. it's a very clean cut satin A-line with tank straps and beading on just the top. it then flares out in pleats.
4) honeymoon was offered as a gift from fiancee's parents. they're sorting out all that.
5) we'll have one bridesmaid and one groomsman. I gave bridesmaid the freedom to wear whatever dress she likes in whatever colour, because she will be 7 months pregnant..
Things I haven't gotten to do yet:
1) picking out decorations. the reception space will be pre-decorated. just need to do something simple for the church. i know what kind of bouquet I want, but have no idea where will I get it.
2) PHOTOGRAPHER... ugh. I'm picky... and poor
3) music, favors and other details like that.
thanks for the support
