So here's what's going on:
- Online, I've found two dresses that I really like.
- They both totally fit my style, personality, and budget. (Super awesome)
- I live in a very rural area; the closest location of a brick & mortar store that might carry Dress B is at least two and a half hours away.
- The Dress A is available online only.
- I'm also in the process of house hunting, and about to begin commuting an hour one way, 5 days a week to grad school -- these factors majorly affect my time & availability to travel anywhere.
My mother's apt suggestion (she also likes both dresses) was that I can order one or both, try on at home, and return whatever doesn't work. The monkeywrench is that Dress A cannot be returned at all.
Dress A:
- $114, including shipping
- Available online only (DB)
- Available in white & ivory
- Cannot be returned (is on sale)
Dress B:
- $175, including shipping
- Could *possibly* be found in a regular store (Dillard's)
- Available only in Ivory
- Can be returned, online or in store
