While I'm at it... here is my dress! I found a picture of this dress in a magazine when we first got engaged (Dec. 2009)! We were not in any rush to get married..we've been together since 2005 so what was wrong with waiting a year or so to start the planning. Well.. health scares, new jobs and house buying happened and so we just kept waiting to wedding plan. My mom decided it was time to start planning and so she made an appointment at DB to try on dresses for me. I ended up having a terrible experience there. On our way home, we saw Alfred Angelo and decided to stop. When I walked in the door, the dress that I had found in the magazine 1 1/2 years earlier was on the manaquin. I tried it on, and when I came out my mom, FMIL, and FSIL all started to bawl their eyes out! So it's been hanging in my closet for about 6 months now and I can't wait to go for my first fitting on Dec 9th!! I am just hoping it won't be too heavy for June!
