I have been!!!  : )   I went thru pics for our slide show AND I think I've designed my invitations!!!  Well I designed a few of them so this weekend I'll take them over to my parents' house to get my mom and sister's opinion on them!

Now I wish June would hurry and come so I can go get my dress!!!

I've been really busy with school all week, so I didn't really get much done.  I did try to arrange an appointment with our DJ to sign the contract and put down the deposit, but its pretty difficult since they can't meet on weekends because of events and I can't meet in the week because I'm at school.  So I think my mom might just go to their offices after work this week to sign the contract.  She's been wanting to be more involved so hopefully this will make her feel better.

My FMIL discovered that the dress I've been trying to hunt down will be carried by Dillard's next month!!!  

That's it though for wedding stuff.  We've been packing up our place all weekend to get ready to GTFOH!!!!

This weekend I got my slip from a girl off Craigslist, and bought my long line bra :-)

Now I'm just waiting for tons of WR related stuff I ordered off Vistaprint to come in!

Went to a bridal show.  Wasn't that excited because they are usually all of the same vendors around here, but this one was different.  Got some great ideas and I'm so excited for this semester of school to be over so I can start seriously planning some things!

I did absolutely nothing!  FI and I were both busy with work last week and decided we wanted a weekend free of anything except going wherever our mood took us and just enjoying the nice weather   As much as I love planning this weekend made me realize how nice it can be to just sit back and relax!

I ordered my fingertip length veil with scattered rhinestones from valuveil.com on Friday and it was shipped at 3:21am Eastern Standard Time today. Super excited! Mom and I have also started dilgently looking for fake sunflowers of good quality.

I sort of have been!
We met and officially booked out florist yesterday. It's going to be amazing and I'm so excited! We've also made an appointment to meet with the rental company (tent, chivaris, linens) for a week from Saturday. 

I also got a call from the bridal salon where I ordered my dress and it'll be in mid-July. It seems so early for my dress to be getting in, but I ordered it so early because we were originially getting married 6 months sooner (Dec. 10). I defnitely think I'm going to wait a little while before I get alterations done because I'm not doing my bridals until May.

I was a little productive.. much more than I have been for the past few weeks! I made a different account on here and had my old one deleted - already posted about that though. Went to a bridal show yesterday.. saw a few dresses that I really liked, but I still don't want to start trying on - I don't want to buy yet, and trying on will make me want to buy!! I also found my limo at the show.. I absolutely love it!! It seems early to have that booked, but FSIL wanted to get the limo for us, and it turned out that I booked the last opening for the limo I wanted on my date! Plus, we got a discount for booking at the show

Now I'm just waiting to get my "wedding room" situated (computer room upstairs is being transformed, lol) so I can get started on all my DIY!

I didn't do anything WR, unfortunately. I did go see Cirque de Soliel: Dralion and that was pretty fun. It seems like all my WR stuff is on hold right now until this summer when I can go look at flowers that are in bloom and I will look at cakes at that time too. You girls are so ambitious!!

I ordered:

Two kinds of Return Address Labels- one with my maiden name, and one with my married name, RSVP cards, 2 Lawn Signs for my venue, Place Cards (which I just made with the Premium Business Cards so they'd be free, hah)

And I started working on the Invitations a bit more, I'll be using the standard postcard for them since I already have 5x7 envelopes in bulk-and I didn't like any of their 'wedding' designs anyway. So far I've only spent about $40, yay for free deals and the Tippr voucher I got!

I just checked out the veil I would order from them and it says its only $15.99-is this too good to be true?  The same type of veil from the place I got my dress is over $700....  Please let me know if it comes and is good quality because I could totally use that type of savings!

I had a very productive week - I was on vacation from work so my plan was to get as much wedding things booked and planned as I could. I booked a trolley for the wedding - we have a big wedding party so I thought that would be more fun to have everyone together instead of getting 2 limos. I bought my invitations - AC Moore had a great sale!! I got our pictures together for a slide show and gave them to my aunt who wanted to do that for us. And I booked a photo booth for the reception. I also set an appointment to meet with a photographer. FI and I went up to New Hampshire for a relaxing get away for a long weekend - I hit the outlets while I was up there and ended up getting my bridal party part of their gifts and got them Coach wristlets. Busy week!

I have a big one...we ordered our wedding bands last night.

It's a bit too early, but the quote we got was very good.  I had gotten a quote on a custom band (to sit flush with my e-ring) from our jeweler's colleague and it seemed high.  I went back with my FI and our jeweler was there...her quote was $200 less than her colleague's for the same ring (I didn't mention this).  She also took 15% off on top of that. 

She also offered to take 15% off FI's ring.  We decided to go for it.  Better to get such a big purchase out of the way now.  Also, if the price of platinum goes up, we'll be happy that we made the purchase now.


I also got my Save the Date proof back.  It's looking good!
