Another TMI Tuesday......

I know someone already posted a TMI Tuesday, but it got me thinking about another question.....are you ladies wearing lingerie on your wedding night or saving it until the honeymoon? 

Our wedding doesn't get over until 12:30 so I figured we'd go back to the hotel, do our thing, and go to bed.  It doesn't seem like there's really time for lingerie in there since FI will have to help me get my dress off anyway.  I'm thinking about just getting silky pj's and saving the lingerie for when we get home/honeymoon (our honeymoon isn't until 10 days later).

Since our wedding night will be our first time, I don't think FI will care.  I do plan to take some on our honeymoon.

As of right now I'm planning on wearing something but it'll all depend on how the night goes and if we have time for it or not!  I do plan on buying some for the honeymoon though!!

The only thing I plan on wearing "special" is a pair of white opera gloves. A few weeks ago FI made a comment about how they are so sexy on the ladies of Downton Abbey. So I thought it would be a nice surprise.

Definitely will be breaking out the lingerie! Glad we're having a morning wedding and an afternoon reception so we won't be too pooped to party:-)

Under my dress I'm wearing a sexy yet functional corset and a cute pair of under ware. So if we aren't too tired, my undergarments will serve as lingerie ;~} I plan on buying/packing several pieces for the honeymoon!

I do not plan on bringing lingerie with me. I am sure by the end of the crazy long day it will be enough work to just get out of my dress. 

I'll have plenty of time to wear some on the honeymoon. 

Also what really could be more sexy than your new husband seeing you in our wedding dress??

I'm bringing lingerie for the honeymoon; I have a sinking feeling FI and I will be too tired on the wedding night to do anything but pluck out my bobby pins and pass out.

this is exactly what FI and I said last week!! I just bought lingere for my boudior shoot that I was also going to wear for the night of! I might change my mind and just have some ultra hott underwear on because he would be taking off my actual wedding dress (I think that's sexy enough in itself!!). My dress has built in cups so I won't have a bra or anything.

This is what I'm afraid of. I think it is a high possibility that it will too. I hope not, but I am gonna be a stressed out mess the week before the wedding and then exhuasted once it's done. I don't want to do anything just because I feel like we "have" to either because it would probably just turn out bad. But I will definitely be bringing some on the HM.

FI isn't really into lingerie. He likes a cute pair of undies though. I will bring some for the honeymoon maybe, but on the wedding night, it will only be my lacy blue cheekies. He will love them. Hope we aren't too tired though. :S

Has anyone else heard of the tradition that the bride's mother buys her "night of" lingerie?  Its a tradition around here and it pretty much creeps me out.  My mom has mentioned it a couple times though, so I'm pretty sure she's going to do it, whether I agree or not.  I have yet to decide if I'll ever wear lingerie my mother buys me... kinda weird.

I will wear lingerie the night of, just because I feel like its important to consummate the marriage that night, even though it won't be our first time or anything.  I just like the idea of it and I like special lingerie for special occasions.  I'm assuming I'll have lingerie from my shower for the honeymoon, if I don't have enough or it doesn't fit then I'll definitely go out and get a few items.  I like lingere and I pretty much never buy it because I never feel like its necessary, but this is a good reason!!

I have a drawer FULL of lingerie...and other than the first 6 months we were together, I rarely use it! If I get new stuff, I might pack one, but it will depend on how the night goes and how tired we are. I do plan on consummating the marriage, I just don't know if it will be a drawn out ordeal complete with lacy lingerie.

Yea I wear a ddd cup bra so finding "cute lingerie" is really not an option for me. Victoria's secret stops at a d, dd if you have a bigger location and my upper body isn't big enough to fit into alot of the plus size stores stuff. As someone mentioned wedding dress is enough

I plan on changing in to lingerie, but I also can't wait for FI to help me get out of my dress. I don't know why, but I'm really looking forward to that moment!
