Is anyone having fireworks and/or sparklers?

I've always LOVED fireworks since I was a young child. I decided not to have a big fireworks display, but sparklers instead. I came across this 2 photos that I hope we can take on our big day. I thought I'd share incase anyone else likes this idea too.

I LOVE that! Unfortunately it'll be too light out so it wouldn't work for us. How neat.

My venue won't allow it. Even if they did, it would irritate my asthma.

I SOOOOOOOO wanted to do sparklers and those Chinese lanterns things....but Smoky says no. We are getting married in a Canyon so anything that could not be controlled was out of the questions. I had to settle for campfires and bubbles

Yes!  Just have to buy them!!  That will probably be the last thing on my list of things to do..

I'm not having either. I just watched an episode of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, and they did a beautiful fireworks display. It looked amazing!

We can't use them something about a fire hazard at a winery....LOL

We want to do some sparklers, but I'm afraid I'll light my dress on fire!

I really want a sparkler exit, but I don't think I can fit them into the budget for everyone. I might just buy one small pack for the two of us at the end of the night.

We really wanted *real* fireworks, but the town we're getting married in has ordinances against them AND the event planners who rent our venue have it in their contract with the castle owners that no fireworks are allowed.  It's sad; one of our friends is actually a firefighter, and we were going to ask him to do it, haha.

I really love the sparkler pictures and wish I could have something like this but venue (botanical gardens) doens't allow it. Good luck to those who do! (and share some picture love afterwords)

we are having our ceremony and resception indoors so we will not be doing fireworks. Also our reception venue is a casino so we couldn't do them anyways.
