So I just need to vent a little. My FI and I started looking at dates right away because I wanted to book venues before I had to start school again. We decided on June 23rd and let those we wanted in the wedding party the dates right away. The guy who was going to be the best man is in the navy and found out he will be shipped out at the end of May. We then shuffled things around to try and get something in May. The only day they had fell on my younger sister's finals week so we had to move it back to June and told the ex-best man that he would not be able to come. Then my older sister comes back after three weeks in Thailand (she knew about the dates and everything before she left and even helped me plan a bit) and tells me how excited she is cause she gets to south africa next summer and when questioned about has no idea if those dates conflict with the wedding date. I want to be able to say this is my day and this is when it is happening, but my family and friends mean so much to both my FI and me that we are trying to plan this around everyone's schedules. Maybe we need an extra year just to ensure that everyone can plan on being there. It is already getting so frustrating and plans haven't even really begun!
