We're changing our centerpieces and there's one part about it I'm unsure of. We decided to go with floating candles so I plan on getting different size vases and putting sea glass and sea shells in the bottom and then filling it 3/4 of the way with water so that the candle flame will hopefully stay inside the vase. The one thing I'm still questioning is that our original centerpieces were also going to have silk hibiscus flowers (we were going to use the hurricane vases our location provided and I was going to make acrylic boxes with sand, shells, seaglass and one or two hibiscus flowers to put underneath the vase). My thought is that silk slowers sitting in water all night will not look so great so I was thinking of not going with them, do you ladies have any thoughts or opinions?
