Another question about favors

I have been struggling with what to give out for favors.  I'm all about the edibles.  Originally I was gunning for custom Jones Soda bottles, but those are silly expensive.  Then I got onto a macaroon kick, but in doing research, I thought those would be too expensive as well.  My mom asked at this amazing French bakery by her house and they aren't as expensive as I originally thought.  We're also thinking we can get a deal by buying such a large batch.

So my question - How much are you intending to spend on each guest for favors?  Also, to help with these answers, what are your favors?  For those doing donations ... and if you don't mind answering, are you giving the donation amount based on a number per guest?

Here are our favors. I'm afraid I can't help much with pricing, though:

-Curling stone magnets (two per person). We met curling, so we felt this was appropriate. They're big enough to actually hold something onto a fridge, and the handle can act as a hook. We have a small guest list and everyone knows our history, so we know they'll understand it and think they're cute. I think it was like $11 for a pack of 4, but we got a discount.

- Italian confetti, or Jordan Almonds. FI's Italian and this is the Italian tradition. FILs are taking care of these, but it should be relatively cheap.

- Mini bottles of flavored olive oil and basalmic vinegar. The olive oil is going to be used as a shower favor, and my mom had the idea to use these as favors. She's paying for them, so I have no idea how much they cost.

If I were to guesstimate, I'd say we're spending about $10 per guest. We have a guest list of about 50 people.

We're doing godiva truffles; I think its about $3 a favor (I hit a killer sale) for about 180 people (so we spent about $550 total)

We are doing mini cupcakes-they are $2.50 for two plus about 25 cents more for the boxes, stickers, ribbon etc.

Not exactly sure the per person. But we are doing something like this: Homemade vanilla extract per couple jar is like .50 each or something, beans were about 25$ then 34$ on vodka for about 100-150 bottles worth Butterfly cookies a few dollars each

We are doing a candy buffet.
Jars were $60 total.
Bags were $5 for 200
Not sure of cost of candy yet. Gonna try to get some good deals the Monday after Easter, so we shall see. I'm thinking 8 different varieties.

We have little mini beach bags (about 2 inches tall) - because our weddng is by the beach - decorated in our colours and we are going to put cookies in them.

I think we are going to print custom cups. My FI is a computer graphics desinger and did a great design for our invitations that I want to carry through. Since we are doing a budget wedding and need to provide cups for beer and non-alcoholic bevereages, we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

My aunt is going to be making wedding cookies for favors.  I would think that it will cost about $2 per person to make them and have them wrapped.  You ladies have a ton of good ideas!
