We were able to make some good progress last night!

I've now addressed 76 of our 248 envelopes. These are all the outers which will take a lot longer than the inners.

I ordered with ribbon and mini moo cards for our invitations. The moo cards have our website info on them.

I wanted to bring in some fun colors for these because our invites are very traditional with charcoal font.


We SHOULD be getting our poms delivered today, but stupid UPS is holding them for a day even though they're shown to be in Raleigh. Maybe they'll surprise me and show up today...

Other exciting news, our RD invitations have shipped and I finished writing my thank you cards for the shower and put them in the mail yesterday. It feels SO good to have them all taken care of.

Also, my aunt got in touch with me yesterday and has confirmed that her and another aunt would like to throw a shower for me. I know it's traditional before a wedding, but I still feel awkward about it. Like I don't deserve it or something. I think it's just me being paranoid that others can be judgy. But even though I feel those weird feelings, I feel so spoiled and excited! I think it's scheduled for May 26th.

Meeting with the pastor today to start finializing details and readings and such for the ceremony- Thank the Lord!

Meeting with the florist today to "finalize" the order and see about adding on the centerpieces.

Waiting on the things that I ordered on Etsy.

Figured out another cute way to reuse our Mr and Mrs signs! I am going to hang them on either side of the closet so we have a Mrs side and a Mr side. That way there is no confusion of whose clothes go where.

Peachy- Love that idea for your Mr and Mrs signs!! We have crepe paper letters made, a huge O, and a smaller J and C. I told FI I am going to hang them on his deer mounts rack after the wedding..... I dont think he liked my idea bahahaha

Last night FI helped me seal envelopes! This is the first he has helped with the envelopes and I am so thankful he did.... because they are done! And I checked all of the addresses to make sure the calligrapher transposed them correctly, which she did. Now its just waiting for April 27th to get here to mail them!

We finalized our first dance song and cut it correctly. Good thing we did because we start dance lessons today! I'm so excited.

It's a list of everyone participating that's not in the WP. For example:

We are having a lot of close friends and family participating (and we are getting married at my parent's house) so we have a lot of random responsibilities, that wouldn't necessarily be at a normal venue :) We also just want to be sure we are covering all of our bases, and getting as many friends involved as possible!

Our ceremony programs and photo share cards were delivered yesterday.  I wasn't particularly interested in doing programs but my mom insisted that we HAVE TO get programs; quite possibly the world would have ended if we didn't...so I'm glad they are here and they will (hopefully) no longer be a topic of discussion.

Today I'm going for my second fitting!

Yes. When we get a house and he gets to actually hang things, I am changing them over to any mounts he has. And then, if I go hunting with him and kill something to mount, I will put the MRS on mine.

The closet just seemed safer in an apartment. I am thinking that a deermount on the wall would be a no-go. lol.

Approved my program and menu proofs.  I was super annoyed at the vendor yesterday because she got everything wrong, but today she sent back a proof that looked great so I feel better!

My family is starting to make their hotel reservations and travel plans!  

I also decided against hair extensions for the wedding.  I felt like I was overdoing it and didn't want to look like another person on my wedding day.  So I am going to keep my hair down instead of up.

I finished my thank you notes from my shower that was 4 days ago!  I wrote about 44 notes in about 2 days.  Feels so good to have this done

the invites are finally on the way and I'm quite happy with them. I had originally planned on printing them myself, but that didn't turn out so well. i guess my printer kind of sucks.
so then I was in this decision limbo for a few days. I got a Vistaprint promo today and ended up ordering the invites from them because they were half off and didn't have to pay for shipping. great deal!
