Happy Sunday. Anyone on here tonight?

Our oven heating element burnt out so instead of pizza from the freezer, we have to go out and buy Little Cesears. It's really obnoxious. 

So, whats up?

I'm here just hanging out with my glass of wine and watching "The Craigslist Killer" movie on Lifetime.  FI should be home any minute from his bachelor weekend and I can't wait to see him!

I'm here.  That sucks about your oven.  FI and I have had a super lazy day today, we both stayed in our PJ's all day.  Just what I needed for my last day of vacation when it's rainy outside.

I live in the Boston area and had stayed at the hotel where he killed the girl so it was crazy when all this was happening.  They also caught him and his FI on their way to Foxwoods in CT in Walpole, MA which is the next town over.

A guy met girls on Craigslist under the Erotic Services section (which has since been discontinued) for sensual massages and stuff and then he would tie them up and rob them and one girl he killed. It was then discovered he had basically a secret life.  He was engaged and everything and obviously she called off the wedding when she found out.  He was about 23 and in medical school at Boston University.

Omg that is crazy! And so scary. Since that I've always had negative feelings towards craigslist. I wouldn't trust it for anything

i've had some not too good Craigslist experiences as well. namely, Im still making payments to Chase every two weeks to pay back money that was scammed out of me via payment/return of a fake check that was issued to me.
it is kind of a long story, but essentially I was paidd with a check and then the guy wanted to return the item and me to make a refund. so I ended up without my stuff and $2000 poorer than before (check turned out to be fake after I had already refunded the money). ultimately Chase blamed me for it, even though their representative really screwed up when assuring me that everything was fine with the check when in reality he had no way of knowing yet. he had not gotten a confirmation yet before he let me refund the money to this guy.
ever since then I stay away from all three - Craigslist, Checks and Chase.
The guy at chase got transferred to a different office (because I broke down at the branch crying and they started feeling really bad for me...). The guy from Craigslist was never pinned down. eventually they worked out a pretty good deal for me at Chase just in good faith (and because they felt partially guilty), but even then... every two weeks I get reminded of how I got screwed over.

He asked me to find a movie to watch so I got Judd Apatow's "Bridesmaids". I haven't seen yet but I hear it's really funny.
