Ok, so i had a small engagement party with both our families and our close friends. We did the whole thing, venue, decorations, invitations and required rsvp's because we were paying per head.
A friend of mine calls as soon as she gets the invitation and says she loves it cant wait to come blah blah. Now, fast forward to the party, she is a no-show and no call before, during or after. (party was June 26th) I understand she lives upstate and all that, and we haven't been close since she moved up there, but she never showed up and never called? I'm not going to lie, I was a little PO'd because she seems to only be around when its convenient for her and FI was proven right ... i am debating whether to invite her to the wedding as I think we may be fading out of each others lives (she's a party girl still partying and I was a semi party girl always watching after her and have now moved on to grown up land) what do i do? Invite her because I invited her to the engagement party and I think thats the right thing to do? Not invite her because I think she'll do the same thing? .. thanks!
