Totally agree about the board being boring. It's because everyone is on FB.
I like being able to read on TK better than FB.

I know it's WR, but I go for my first fitting on Saturday with my MOH/BMs and mom. I can't wait.

Trying out Empire Brewing Company for dinner tonight before I head out to the Sip & Scan at Macy's. One beer before the mall sounds great to me!

I HAVE to buy a bridal shower dress today - no exceptions. If not, I don't have a dress.

My dog had an accident - 3 bruised ribs, hurt disc in her back and a mild concussion. The vet bill wasn't too bad considering.

My sister and ber bf picked out a ring, she thinks the proposal will be Memorial Day weekend! (My proposal was last memorial day weekend!)

I have noticed the board being super boring this week too!!!
I just got back from my first training session with WW. It went really well.

On another job related note, I had a good discussion with my boss last night about a future job position in a DR's office and getting more "normal" work hours when we start working on our family. It looks very promising and I am very excited!

I can't wait for the weekend! FI and I are going with a group of my co-workers to Keeneland a beautiful race track in Lexington, Kentucky. I love Keeneland and look forward to going every season it is open. It is going to be a fun weekend which is great since it has been a stressful week.

I agree. It seems like a lot of the boards are boring. I have a meeting with my boss today (everyone has to every week) and I'm afraid she's going to tell me I didn't get the student manager position. I know I'm more qualified than the other girl that applied but they interviewed 3 people and there are 2 spots. My interview was 30-40 minutes, the other girls was an hour and a half, and the guys was 2 and a half hours. I'm afraid since they didn't spend as much time with me it means I won't get it

Mel, Empire Brewing Co is very good! I'd recommend getting there early, though. Mind you, we went on a Friday, but it was super busy and we had to wait a while to be seated. On a side note, have you ever been to Pastabilities? I LOVE their food :

I ADORE Pastabilities; they have a prickly pear maragarita now that's really good. The shrimp/linguine pesto is my all time favorite!

We're getting there around 5:30 - the Sip & Scan is at 7 pm. Are you still in Syracuse?

Dior is healing; she took a nasty fall but she's fine :)

You should talk to the girls on the Hawaii board. From what I have heard they are really nice and helpful.

Looks like I'll be getting quite a bit of overtime between now and the wedding. Good thing I have everything mostly done. I'm going to be nonexistent on here during that time too. :(

Our friend from Ireland got in town last night and is staying till May 5th. He is probably going to stay at our house half the time. Right now my FI is playing disc golf with him. My FI's productivity level will go down to about zilch while he is here, but oh well.

I'm not. I lived there for a couple of months back in the summer of '10. I made sure to explore all the local hot spots, though : I'm in Rochester now but whenever FI and I go to Waterloo Outlets we go to Syracuse for dinner somewhere. When I was there I worked for the government, and the federal building is within walking distance of a lot of things, so we'd go to Pastabilities. I love the penne vodka, though that's because I'm a pretty simple person haha. I LOVE their bread and spicy hot tomato oil. And I love that you can get both across the street.
