It's Finally Friday!

Re: It's Finally Friday!

  • SO SO SO SO BUSY!!!

Today I have my waxing appointment after work. I told FI to have a skinngy girl margarita waiting for me on my way home. He's also getting new tires put on my car while I'm at work (thanks mom!) so I don't die the next time it rains. Depending on how much pain I'm in after my waxes depends on what we do with the rest of our evening.

Saturday: Mom and I are headed to the Southern Weddings Yard Sale first thing in the morning, then headed to Southern Season to get some supplies for my cousin's fiance's shower on Sunday. We also have some other stops to make for that. Mom and I have haircuts at 1 and then back to cooking and preparing for the shower.

Sunday: 5K for my brother and FI's fraternity at 9:30 and then headed to my aunt's to prepare for the shower at 1. After the shower we're having a big family dinner since everyone will be in town (except my grandpa)...

And that's the weekend. I love having so much fun stuff going on, but we literally have jam packed weekends every weekend except for maybe 2 until the wedding.
  • Getting my iPad then picking up furniture tomorrow! Woo

[QUOTE]TGIF!!!!  I need to relax this weekend before I completely lose it!!! Tonight:  Dinner with my parents (good company and a free meal!) Tomorrow: Going to airport to get FI set up with his Nexus pass (makes travelling btwn Canada & the US easier).  Going for a St Paddy's drink with our Irish friends.  <strong>Then bottling champagne with my parents for our "at home" party when we get back from Maui.</strong> Sunday:  Meeting with a friend to discuss prelim. ideas for my bachelorette.  Hopefully getting some time to type out our menu and possibly print them off & assemble??

  • I may be the only one sad it's Friday. It's the end of my spring break and I am just not quite ready to go back to school. I had a bunch of homework that I of course didn't do much of.

Today: Going to the zoo with my family (which I'm really excited about) and then eating dinner at the FILs

Tomorrow: Flying back to North Dakota. I am so excited to see FI and our puppy because it's been 9 days! I missed my 2 boys too much!

Sunday: Work and then homework. So exciting.

<div>Ya it's pretty awesome!  You get to put the whole thing together yourself so it's fun!  (and hammering the cork into the bottle is alwaysgood for pent up stress).  We are thinking of making custom "Jane and Ash" labels to go on them too!  Saves so much money when comparing it to buying champagne from the liquor store (which is especially good when you have a FMIL who drinks champagne like it's water).</div>

I feel the same way!! It really helps to build the excitement, but I am scared I will be exhausted by the time the wedding weekend comes around!! :) We will survive!!

Tonight: Lots and lots of NCAA  basketball (love it!) and chalk board painting our mugs hopefully the weather stays nice so we can grill out

Saturday: Get organized, and finish any mugs that need to be completed. Cathing up with an OOT friend over coffee. Going out with friends to celebrate St. Patrick's day.

Sunday: Grill out with a few friends. And researching homes/apartments in Indianapolis. We will be moving there before we know it! Have to get on top of it all!

[QUOTE]Ninda - FI and I both cried too. I just saw it a few weeks ago with my Grandma. FI is really cute with it because once we have a family, he wants to get the plaque with the resolution on it to sign and hang in our house. He also wants to get the books for men/women and read them at the same time. I love him so much. We just watched Fireproof last night. Another really good one by the same people. Laura - It's the Moerlein Lager House and FI actually just made reservations so we'll get in for sure! I'll let you know what we think. :)

OOOO I've heard of that place!  I really want to go too, but I heard its hard to get a table...let me know what you think and if it is worth the wait!  I'm glad to hear you can actually make reservations...that must be a new thing for them.  Have a fun weekend!

You know how it is about the new place in town. I'm going to be scared if there's a wait longer than 30minutes when the weather is nice considering it holds 1100 people. Mind-boggling.
  • Today: grocery shopping and a long day of babysitting

Tomorrow: St. Patty's day!  Drinking green beer and eating corned beef most of the day I feel like.

Sunday: Getting the last but of stuff together for my interview on Tuesday and getting ready for work on Monday.

So question: Are you making your own, or just re-bottling from bulk to save money?  Either way....I'll come help you pound corks. (oh that sounds kinda dirty!) i need some stress relief.

What I want is to go out and dig in the dirt and plant something!!  But I have no place for a garden this year.  Desole'!

<div>Making our own!  My parents ordered it months ago and once it's ready, we get to go in (we bring the bottles) and fill up the bottles, "pound the corks" (you're right....dirty! HA!), put the wire baskets on the top and then the foil tops to make them look pretty.  It's actually not bad.....it's the THE BEST champagne but it is definitely quite drinkable!</div>

  • I am so glad for Friday. This past week has been a special circle of hell, and the next two weeks of work aren't looking any better. Worse, maybe. I REALLY can't wait until I can quit in September. Or until I get laid off. Either one.

Today: burger and a beer. A friend gave FI a Living Social for a place by us that was going to expire before they could use it (and they didn't want to return it? IDK or care. free food!).

Tomorrow: Taekwondo, drinking, doing invitations, more drinking, corned beef and cabbage, and more drinking. I'm part Irish, you know. Got to live up to it.

Sunday: Parade! And umm... drinking. hehehehe.

We might, possibly, decide to go into NYC for the parade Saturday, but FI and I don't like massive amounts of people. The one on Sunday should be good enough for us. It's the 2nd largest in NY, after NYC.
