So today I was sitting on the couch when a really sad ASPCA commerical came on. Normally I change the channel because they always make me cry, but the remote was far away, so the tears began. I remembered seeing something once about someone saying that the ASPCA will send you little place cards to put by plates in lieu of favors when you make a donation.
So my question is, what do you think about when people donate and give a little place card thing in place of a favor? Have you seen it done before? I can afford to do favors, although nothing extravagant, but those commercials really do their job and make me want to help those poor animals!!! But with saving up for the wedding and such I don't have the money to make a significant donation unless it was actually incorporated into the wedding. If you saw this done at a wedding would you think it was like a cop-out on the favor front? Please be honest, I won't be offended if anyone thinks its tacky, that's why I'm asking!!
