Can you imagine...

Planning your wedding without the knot? I know people do it, I'm just not sure how....

Re: Can you imagine...

  • If google was still around, I think I'd manage pretty well but I'd miss the boards on the Knot the most!
  • I need this site to release some wedding stress!! It's unreal! <3 these knottie boards!
  • I love THIS board, the others not so much, especially because the etiquette part is SOOOOOOOOOOO different where i am from. I have learnt a lot from "lurking" though and i couldn't do without this board. I almost got up in the middle of the night because i didn't check this before bed, good thing i didn't though because it looks like it was sorta dead lol.

  • I know without TK, my budget would've probably been triple what it is now. Granted, with Google-I probably would've been able to find lots of vendors, but I wouldn't have any idea if they were reputable or not.

  • The only thing I really use TK for is the message boards, which are fun, but not necessary for my planning.  I actually use Wedding Wire a lot more to research vendors and I like their tools better (their budgeter is good).  TK is too glichy for me with their tools.
  • I think I could totally plan it without TK. I found the venues I like without the help of TK. I think I could manage pretty well, the only exception would be having other brides give me recs on the boards.

  • I'm with some PP's, the only thing I really use on TK is the message boards, most everything else we've done with research not on TK
  • I mostly use the boards too, but I have gotten so much from them!

I love people's bios and the DIY board. :)
  • I certainly could, but I don't think I'd want to!

  • I think I could've gotten as far as I have without TK, but it wouldn't have been as much fun. This is actually the first "boards" I have ever been on! I really enjoy hearing different perspectives from very different people.

  • I find Wedding Wire extremely helpful for the reviews.  The Wedding Bee board is more positive, so I use the general forums there.  I come here for you ladies.  :)
  • I could do without it.  Honestly, I really just use the message boards here and just do a ton of research.
