So I went to go sign the contract at our venue today, since this was the date they said I had to wait until to book them. I had called earlier this week to ask if June 21 was still available and they said it was. Well, when I got there today they told me that a bride had booked that date yesterday. I was unsure how, as they told me today was the first day I could come in to book the venue. Anyways, they had the next Thursday, June 28, open and we booked that. So I still am a June 2012 bride, just a week later than I thought! So excited to have such a big check and OFFICIALLY have a wedding date!
