Didn't even plan on doing it today, but since we were at the mall- we figured, why the heck not :-)
So we made registries at Macy's & Crate and Barrel! We liked Crate & Barrel's registry better out of the two, the scanner was easier to use IMHO. The registry consultant at Macy's really rubbed me the wrong way and was weirdly insistant that we register for china, crystal and silver. We're not the type that's into those things and there wasn't any we even remotely liked.
FI applied for a Macy's card to get even more registry rewards and used our discount to get new sheets since our crappy Target sheets had holes in them, lol. Crate & Barrel gave us a small vase as a free gift for registering, and it's actually really cute!
