Weekend plans?

Anyone doing anything for the weekend?  Do you get an extended weekend for the holiday?

Not much for us...watching the Bruins tonight, FI is working tomorrow and I'm working a few hours Sunday.  Monday we will enjoy the nice weather cleaning up my grandparents yard and barbequeing with my cousins and then we're going to the Sox game Monday night

We have Monday off...thank goodness!  It's been very quiet at my office and the days have dragged by as a result.  I'd much rather it be busy. 

No big plans, though I think I'm going to see the Bridesmaids movie.

Tonight FI and I are going out to dinner. Tomorrow is a family reunion that I am excited about. I havent seen most of my family since last year. Sunday we will have a cook out at my parents house. Monday will be a day for us to just relax and hang out with friends.:)

Tonight just relaxing and hanging out with FI at his apartment.

Tomorrow he has an event to cover 1.5 hours away and I'm going with him. After he's finished working, we're hanging out with my cousin who's one of my best friends. He lives there. If the weather is nice, we're playing outside! If it's not we're going to play games at his apartment or go see a movie. I thought Green Lantern came out this weekend but I was wrong...and saddened. lol

Sunday we have Church, a graduation party for some random sports kid in the county he works in, and we're going to the drive in to see Pirates 4 and Thor (again!). Monday was going to be a relaxing day at the apartment but my parents/brother want to do something local like go to a museum or something, so FI and I will join them for that. (Since last night my mother told me she feels like ever since FI got apartment that I've forgotten about them amongst other things that pissed me off. Even though I was home for dinner M-W, still go to grandma's for dinner every week, go to church with them, etc.)

I actually don't have any plans this weekend other than being lazy. We have a couple of graduations to go to tomorrow. but other than that nothing. So it should be a good weekend.

Saturday my FMIL is taking me to Bed Bath and Beyond and William Sonoma to get stuff for my apartment (I think she and my Mom will get me everything on my registery before the wedding)

Sunday Church in the morning, brunch, organizing all my clothes, etc then adventure at night. Maybe rooftop bar at dream hotel.

Monday cleaning/getting new apartment ready, playing with my kittens

One of FIs friends is supposed to be stopping by ... today?!?!  FI has yet to confirm which drives me nuts since I've asked him a gazillion times if he spoke to this friend.  He might not come at all for all I know.

I'm meeting up with a college friend for lunch today.  We haven't seen each other in over a year and now that I just moved we live about 15 minutes away.

My dad is coming to see our new place and visit.  I'm not sure if he's coming up Saturday night or Sunday morning though.

Soooo .... lots of uncertainty this weekend.  I hope everything works out.

We don't have a lot planned.  We'll probably go out to dinner, pick up the house, clean my car, maybe plant some veggies in the garden if it's still not a swamp, and I have to study for a test I have next week.  

I am also VERY excited that I don't have to go to work on Monday, but I do have somethings I should get done over the weekend that I can do from home.

Julb - I'm sure it will all work out somehow. My FI does the same thing with plans and it drives me nuts too. I think it's a guy thing. How exciting to be seeing a college freind you haven't seen in a long time!

Quite a few people moving this weekend or continuing to unpack from moving. FI still needs to unpack a lot of his clothes but I also keep forgetting to bring the tons of extra hangers we have at our house, mostly in my closet that I don't need.

We don't have anything really planned, but we're going to try to clean & rearrange our bedroom, and clean out our cars if the weather holds up.  We haven't had a weekend at home alone together in a while though, so I can't wait!

so jealous you're going to the game!!  one of the reasons we can't wait to move back east-love me some rem dawg and NESN!!!
we're also watching the bruins tonight and it'll be my first sat am off since last summer so we're going to walk around the farmer's market together-in the rain/snow.  gotta love MT's crazy weather!  wish it were going to be nice, we'd go camping.  instead we'll be home.

WEEEEEEKEND! YAY!  This has been a hell of a week!

No big plans for me and I'm completely fine with it. I'm going to dinner tonight with my parents.  FI has work through Sunday but we lucked out and he has off Monday.  We'll probably spend the day at Stone Mountain hiking, have a picnic and then catch the laser show and fireworks in the evening.

WOO WEEKEND!!!!  (By the way, I am SO thrilled it is the weekend!!!)

No work for me this weekend!

Saturday - FI discovered that the movie theater near us sells tickets to the first showtime of the day for each movie for $6! Therefore, we're going to see the Hangover 2 and go out to brunch tomorrow morning... and not feel guilty about spending too much money

Sunday - My younger brother's best friend had his father pass away last weekend and the funeral was today. He was a state trooper, and died in the line of duty. My brother hasn't been taking it so well (he knew the dad well) so I'm taking him out for the day to take his mind away from things.

Monday - Hiking with FI and the dogs, weather permitting. And we need to give our venue a tentative head count so they can draw up our catering contract... so we'll be tackling our beastly guest list.

My parents & FI parents are throwing us an engagement party tomorrow! I'm so excited! And 2 of my BM's have planned "entertainment" for the party, I'm not quite sure what....something like the Newlywed Game with FI & I, my parents, and his parents. I can't wait! After the party (it's in the early afternoon), some of our friends are coming back to our house to hang out and relax outside and have margaritas. Tomorrow night we are going to the marina where we dock our boat, they have a restaurant/bar and a band is playing there outside at night. We have a very busy, but fun day planned!

Sunday we are both off of work and plan on doing nothing but relaxing!

Monday I have to work (I work in a bank that's open 7 days - even Holidays), but only from 11-3. And we have a cook out to stop by after I get out of work.
