Introduction!

Hi Ladies! I realized that I've posted a couple times on the board, but have never officially introduced myself. My name is Katherine, I'm 25 (26 in October), my fiance's name is Greg and we got engaged this past Thanksgiving on Cape Cod. Our wedding date is June 2nd, and we're getting married in Boston. We're pretty deep into planning, and having a great time! I really enjoy coming to this board, and I hope I get to know all of you over the next year!

Congrats and good luck with the planning! What venue did you pick in Boston? I looked at a lot of Boston venues, but we ended up in Jamestown, RI. FI has a lot of family in RI and I loved our venue and it was a lot more affordable(paying for the wedding ourselves)

Sarah0335 - Thanks! We picked the Boston Harbor Hotel. We looked a bunch downtown, and I loved the public library at Copley, but in the end we decided we couldn't beat the location/view of the BHH! What venues did you look at in Boston? RI is so beautiful, you cant go wrong there!

I looked at the aquarium some places around Copley and at several of the hotels in the city. I also looked at some of the vineyards in NH and RI. I spent A LOT of time looking at venues and am very glad it is all set. The BHH is amazing!! You will have an extremely beautiful wedding there!

I dont have too many pictures of things yet, but here are two pictures of the venue. One of the inside when it was set up for a wedding, ( i love the centerpieces on those tables, I really want to use candles like that in mine) and one from the outside. The room is on the first floor of the building on the right, that juts out into the water, with floor to ceiling windows!
