I had originally planned on doing a memorial candle for the ceremony but FI had the idea of having flowers with an invite next to them to symbolize that even though our loved ones are no longer with us they will always be with us and are still invited to celebrate with us.
My problem is I don't know what kind of flowers to have in the arrangement. Our other 2 altar arrangements are white, lavender and purple larkspur with greenery.
What are you using for memorial flowers?
Also, I have "no roses in my wedding" rule. I have nothing against roses; I just wanted my flowers to be unique to us. However, if I can't find a good memorial flower and roses seem to be the best option, I may bend this rule for our loved ones.
