Shoes - PIP

Hey guys!  I am having second thoughts about my shoes.  They are pretty casual, but the reason I got them is so that they would be comfortable.  AND THEY ARE.  And cute.  AND THEY ARE! And blue.  AND THEY ARE.  But they are so much more casual than my dress, I trying to decide about getting another pair.  Any suggestions?

Re: Shoes - PIP

  • If they're going to be covered most of the time and you're comfortable in them I'd keep them
  • What if you used those for your reception shows and got a dressier pair for the ceremony?
Also, unless you are hemming to your ankles, no one will see your shoes.

  • Are you getting married on the beach? Your dress looks like that nice flowy kind you would wear on the beach. If so i would keep them.

You can always get another pair for walking down the aisle like peachy said, but those look comfort. I am all about comfort. Forget the 4 inch heels that will give me blisters & kill my feet before the ceremony is even over.

  • I think they're really cute! And look comfortable. I am wearing TOMS wedges which are really casual, but comfortable!

  • Thanks guys!  We are getting married at the lake, so heels wouldn't really work -- but a little platform is pervect.  The whole sole of the shoe bends with my foot, so they are UBER comfortable.  And you are right.....no one will see them, and I love them so that's all that matters.  :)

I guess sometimes we al second guess ourselves!!

  • This! Switch into them for the reception or if they work for you wear them for the ceremony as well.
