I haven't posted in a while because I have been so busy with work, moving, and wedding planning!!
Here it goes, my Aunt in law to be is throwing my shower and sent out the invites, which are adorable and so classy, with the wrong date on it!
I am so bummed but more embarrassed and have been going through the call/text/e-mail of shame! Its embarrassing for obvious reasons but even more so because she is like your perfect stay at home mom,
She teaches yoga for a few hours some afternoons, throws charity events and everything so she jumped at the chance to throw the shower and is like kicking herself so hard about it. Most likely even more than I am!!
Either way I am still super excited about it and I know the people who I really want to come will, the invitation kind of just is more of a formality.
In situations like this my mom and I have a thing where we look at eachother and say when, never. She called me today and I told her the whole thing and she says when? I said NEVER!
Luckily I am able to take it lighthartedly because its not the end of the wold, and there are only about 50 people invited to the shower not the daunting 200 that I would need to get a hold of if something were to go wrong with the wedding invites, which just went to print last night!
