How far in advance should it be. My mom was asking today and she wants to have it at her church, most people are not invited to the wedding she wants to make it open to anyone but it dont want to seem like i only want gifts.is this bad etiquette? I know i would be hurt if i was invited to a shower but not the event. thoughts?
