LOL!! So I've been working on DIYing the table runners for my reception. . . . We initially estimated about 200 guests, but the final counted ended up being 292, 40 of which we know won't come. so, 252 guests, which means 32 tables plus one for the cake table OR family wedding photo table, so 33. well, I've been procrastinating and just not wanting to have anything to do with them AT ALL for the last oh, two or three months. . .I started on them in late september and got about 12 done. . . .I'm up to 23 now!! yay! There IS an end in sight! I just wanted to celebrate a little with you girls. These things have been killing me, but I've been unemployed so I figured it was fine. . .well, I find out tomorrow if I got this new job (sounds exciting, right? not so much. we can use to $, but I am so OVER working in the restaurant industry!) and now I'm not sure if I'll even get time to do them if I start working, so I'm trying to get the ones I can done with the fabric I have.
I've got to send my poor mom back to LA's garment district for fabric for the THIRD TIME! lol there were some. . . .miscalculations. . .the first time we went and I only had enough fabric to make like 15.
So, yay me! I've only got another 4 to go until I can't make any more for a while!
And, keep your fingers crossed that I DON'T get the job! lol, I hate to say it, but they want to pay me $2 less an hour than I made at my last job, plus work me nights and weekends (which means I'll almost NEVER get to see my FI) AND I'll have to travel over an hour every day just to get to/from. not a good situation, but I can't rightly say no since we can use the $. . .ugh. lol
