Our caterer requires an exact count of plates and entree choices for our guests, so we are having guests indicate what their choices are on the response cards. We are very fortunate that our caterer can also create custom plates at a guest's request due to dietary needs and/or allergies, but the catch is that this needs to be done well in advance. Due to the rather.....extensive list of allergies of some of our family members, we've volunteered to help coordinate this rather than just asking the caterer to handle it directly.
Because guests have to choose an entree when they send in their response, I'm including a menu enclosure detailing the entrees. Because of allergies, I want to include a note at the bottom that asks guests to contact us if they have any dietary needs that must be met. However, I'm worried that some family members might not know how or where to contact us (e.g. extended family who we only see a few times a year, and got addresses for through our parents).
