So excited!

When my FI and I got engaged in February, it was over Skype since he was overseas with the Navy.  He said he was having my ring made at the time so he couldn't show it to me.  He told me today it will be ready on Wednesday to pick up! I'm flying to see him in June, so I will get it then. I'm sooooo excited!

that is pretty, mine is similar but it is gold (i am old fashioned, i like regular old fashioned gold lol) chanel diamonds are sooooo nice, it will look nice on your finger as well. How long have you guys been apart? How long do you get to visit with him when you go there? when does he come home? he must have been pretty excited if he couldn't wait to propose till you go there lol.

Thank you!  He's been gone since January and will not be back until next January :(.  I'll be able to stay about a month when I go visit.  I'm a teacher and we planned for me to come out while I was on summer break.  He told me he had planned to wait until I got out there to propose, but I'm glad it turned out the way it did.  We've been through a deployment before, but this is the longest we will have been apart.  I just hope everything works out for my trip to see him.  He is based in one of the countries that has had protesting off and on.  I'll just keep praying that everything will work out! :)

Good luck, the one thing about getting engaged is that the planning must help with the deployment? I hope it is safe for you to journey over there at that time, especially with having the summer off

I had to bring my ring back to REEDS because a diamond fell out....so for the next how long it takes I am wearing a ring he got me for Valentines Day a few years ago....

I like it; definitely worth the wait.  Enjoy your trip to see him and stay safe.  What base is he stationed at (if you don't mind me asking)?  I have family stationed all over the world.

Thanks!  I'm sorry that happened with yours.  Hopefully it gets fixed soon.  Whenever someone finds out I'm engaged, they look for the ring and I've got to expain why I don't have it, so I'll be glad when I don't have to do that anymore.
