I took a hiatus from wedding planning after I finished all of the big vendors because I was literally planning every detail, doing all the research, etc all by myself and it just got to where I was resenting the wedding. Anyway, I'm back into the groove and have done a lot this week and I'm so excited! I am having surgery on Feb 2, so most of February I won't feel like doing much planning so I'm trying to get as much done now as I can.
- I sent the deposit for our florist. We met with her back in October and where we are getting married is such a small town tha they basically take word of mouth as confimation.
- mailed fabric swatches of BM dress colors to florist and baker so they can match the colors
- paid off the DJ (it's only $350 for the entire ceremony and reception!)
- reserved our hotel block
- ordered sample invitations of several I am choosing between
- finished our invitation wording
- adjusted our budget to reflect some of the changes we made as we decided what was more important to us and what we wanted to splurge on/cut back on
- updated our spreadsheet that contains every single expense for the wedding and what we have spent/when stuff is due
I feel so accomplished but so stressed! I still have SO much to do. One of my BM and I are getting together next week to try to knock out a couple of DIY projects like our card box, table runners, and centerpieces!
