Cake Topper Opinions :)

We are having a very formal traditional wedding and have everything in keeping with that style, this may seem like a silly question, but I found a cake topper that was FI and I completely - will it look silly on top of a 5 tier cake, I just don't want it to look out of place... I am probably thinking WAY too much into this... opinions please.. TIA :)

If everything will be very formal then yes, I think this will look out of place.  However I like it and if you do to I would use it anyway to represent who you both are.

  • I don't think it will look at of place at all. We are doing a topper in which the bride as the groom lassoed and dragging him. FI picked it out and its cute and funny.

If it is so you and your FI, then go for it.

  • who cares? if you love it then use it =)
  • we are doing a very untraditional cake topper. It's FI to a T.

  • Our cake topper is kinda silly also, and everything else we are doing is traditional.  I think it will be fine.  It really gives you a chance to show your personalities!

  • If everything is formal I think it will look out of place but if this is the one place you go silly I don't think it'll be a huge deal

We made sure everything with our wedding represented us as a couple. We did a silly cake topper.. and I LOVE silly cake toppers. But I think it depends on the couple and what you are going for. We are very silly... so there was no question we would have a silly cake topper. Our's is the groom in a kilt with the brides hand lifting up the kilt with her hand on his bum. :)

  • I highly doubt anyone will notice that your cake topper isn't formal. If they do, they're missing out on the fun. DO IT!
  • Definitely use it :)
