we ordered our programs from VP and NWR: came up with a game plan for painting the kitchen walls and cabinets

We finally started working on our DJ lists..we had nothing. Didn't know what I'm coming down the aisle to, didn't know what our first dance was going to be so we got a good amount done. Need to schedule our final meeting with the DJ but I have no idea where that will fit in.

I bought a dress for my shower on Saturday

FI and both officially have bought our gifts for the BM/GM!

Designed our rings on Saturday! Can't wait to pick them up June 9th
Meet with our priest also, went over order of ceremony, choose readings, need to contact the organist and singer today to confirm availability. Finally can get started on our programs, as we have decided to do detailed ones, consider many of our guest are not catholic. Also designed the label for our wine bottle favours, now just have them printed by the wine company.

NWR - FINALLY got to weeding my garden yesterday! I am an idiot though and now have tan lines! Ahhh...

I actually had a very productive WR weekend

-All table numbers/menus are completed
-Bathroom baskets done for men's and women's rooms
-Thank you sign for gift table
-sign for candy buffet table
-worked on escort cards. Put names of all who responded yes so far. Just need to add in the table number and waiting for more response cards.
-Sending another payment today for our honeymoon.
-Printed out 100 programs

I got 22 of 300 program fans done last night! They are taking forever though





Oh and I had b-pics on Saturday! I had a lot of fun!

Chelsea, I am so glad you had fun at your b-pics!! I would have loved to get this for FI but the $$ just wasn't there

Went bra shopping again but did not find one that works for the dress.  

Bought the paper for the maps and agendas we're putting in the hotel gift bags.

Bought some more thank you notes.

Got some cute boxes and ribbons for the BM jewelry gifts.

Found a frame that will work well for our thumbprint guest book tree.

Well, I actually just bought my FFIL his gift (wine rocks from polarstone on Etsy), I got the totes for my MOH and 2nd MOH.
I got FMIL an apron that I am going to put sparkle MOG on.

Now, I have to figure out what to get for uncle/fatherly figure. I think I am going to get him whiskey rocks from polarstone on Etsy.

I'm not working on any wedding stuff this week since I'll still be in AZ until Saturday.  Over the weekend I wrote the obituary for my grandma and started on the picture boards for her celebration of life.  Today we're picking out all the music and scriptures for the service.

Wrote and mailed all my shower thank you cards (it really was torture) and scheduled a meeting with our priest for May 19th to go over the ceremony. Its getting real!

Oh, and mailed in a 50% deposit to the florist, then started stressing about money (even though we're on track with everything).

*We had our tasting at reception venue. It was an open tasting so a few friends paid $5 and enjoyed the buffet and open bar.

*My cousin hosted a personal shower for me! Very fun!

I had my bachelorette party this weekend. It was sooooo much fun!

We mailed our invitations out on Friday!! A lot of people have already received them and we've gotten great feedback so far! 

-We did have a bit of an adventure at the post office. We already have 90 cents worth of stamps on them, but we had to add 20 more because of the thickness of them, which upgraded them to first class mail - it was a pain, but it's really made our invited arrive in great condition so far.

We met with our florist this morning and it went fabulous!! It was my mom, Brandon, and I and we just sort of finalized everything. I am so thrilled with how everything went and what we've chosen. I just know it's going to look incredible seeing everything come together.

I also ordered the print for our guest book. We decided to find an old picture from our alma mater and we're getting a 16 x 24 print of it framed and are having our guests sign the matte.

I've also been emailing our wedding people up a storm this morning confirming things and making sure we're good to go.

My parents also decided that they want us to have a quartet instead of a trio play at the cermeony. And my couisn's going to do an acousitc guitar solo. Our ceremony is officially planned and approved!!

I have my second fitting tomorrow and I'm really excited about it!!
