My mom keeps saying she wants to throw me a shower (me it doesn't matter if i have one or not) the problem is she keeps saying that and I just tell her I need a date and she keeps saying that she needs to talk to my aunt about it first. I am in school and buying a house right now so I have no time to do anything and I know my mom she will schedule something on a day when I have to do something and she wont even ask me about dates first. should I keep asking her or just let it go?

I agree. Supplying her with some dates will let her know what she has to choose from and get the ball rolling for her.

It's your mom & she is going to throw you a shower whether you want it or not. LOL. Give her a couple of dates & keep her happy. I don't want one but everyone is insisting that I have to have one. Both fiance & I own our own houses so it makes it more complicated to pick items for our registry.
