I just wanted to give a shout out to all of the guests who assume I know they are coming because they FB messaged me, texted me or randomly rsvp'd to the guest list on TK.

I'm so thankful that my $80 worth of stamps were not waisted. Hugs and kisses, us!:)

Oh I hear ya. I have gotten about 3 RSVP's handed to me. Why I appreciate that I have them...please at least use the stamp.

I understand the frustration. Calling begins next week for me. I am giving until May 12. People don't understand all the money and time that goes into those invitations.

HAHA totally agree! What is SO difficult with people RSVPing, I always make sure when FI and I are invited to weddings that it goes out that same week, mainly because I don't want to misplace the card! lol

This is why I didn't do the mail-back RSVPs...everyone here is too lazy to do that! I'm barely even getting a FB message!

I have a ton of extra invited guests. FI gave me a list of all these people he wanted to invite that I'd never met (about 30 extra after we finalized everything... awesome!) and since I didn't know them, I didn't think about kids etc (they're all older, I assumed if they had kids they'd be adult). Nope, most of those people have RSVPd yes, and have at least two kids to bring with them. Teenagers, too. I KNOW they don't want to come to a wedding for people they've never met (I never wanted to and I love weddings!). Bah. FI doesn't want to say no to these people so he's just footing the bill.

So if you're not using the RSVP on your TK website why do you have it set up?  Or do you want people to do both?

We don't have it set up. They are signing the guest book as an rsvp:/

I'm so glad we're doing online and phone RSVPs only--the postage cost enough already without stamping RSVP cards! :S

My shower is tomorrow, and nobody who was invited has sent their reply card back to me.  I'm pretty sure most of them are just going to hand it to me tomorrow - because that's what I need while I'm there.

Would it be tacky to hand it back and ask them to mail it?

I was worried about people not sending them back so we just did the on line RSVPs and put my phone number on for people who are computer illiterate ...hehehe like me...
So all I have gotten is texts with, cute picture or love your invitations...NO RRVPs.
It's making me nuts!!

I really don't get it.  You give them an addressed envelope with a stamp, and a card that they put their name on and they have to check yes or no.  DO IT PEOPLE!!!  Lol.
