I'm so nervous about our photography. FMIL wanted us to ask FBIL if he knew any photographers, since FBIL is into amature filmography. idek. Apparently, FBIL knows someone in Italy who may or may not be moving to the United States and may or may not be moving near where our ceremony will be. He's only done 2 weddings. I don't have access to his wedding portfolio to see what he has done. FBIL has emailed this person asking if they want to do our wedding. No reply yet.
The problem? No one asked me if I would be even remotely okay with asking this person! FBIL just went ahead and asked him. If this guy says yes, I'm now going to be stuck with someone who might not even be in the country! Time is running out. People I had been contacting earlier are already booking for our date. Wah!
What sucks more is one of our wedding guests (FI's ex-girlfriend, actually), is a professional photographer. Not weddings. She works on things like Lady Gaga's music videos taking stills. I wanted her to evaluate the professional photographers that I was in the process of screening.
I just pray Italy person says no to this crazy idea.
