Do you give a boutonniere to the readers?

We have one male reader so far and possibly a male doing one of the offretory gifts; do you give a male reader a boutonniere?  I know you should give the female ones a corsage, which I'm still deciding about because I HATE corsages.  Obviously I won't give the males a bout if I don't give the girls corsages but I'll be doing something for the girls so I'm just wondering about the boys!

Currently we have nothing for our 3 readers! (2 female, 1 male) I know bad! We also have 4 people bring the gifts to the priest in our mass.

Our florist said it wasn't necessary and all the readers are cousins, about our age, and I really don't think they would want to wear corsages! The 4 bringing the gifts are god parents and I have ordered for them, but they are not in there 20's and I think would be offended if they did not get something special! Lol

We are, but I think it's personal preference. If you get corasages for the female readers/attendants, I would get bouts for the guys though. If you don't get them for the females, I wouldn't worry about it for the males.

I think it's nice to give them something to stand out a little from everyone else since they have an honored position. I would make them different then FI's and the groomsmen bouts though.

Ditto Jess & Kelsey.  We will have them for our two readers.

We are getting them for our readers. I just wanted to do something a little extra for them to stand out.

We will be, but they will be more simple than the mother corsages/father bouts. Also you could just give the female readers a single bloom if you hate corsages. Or make pins out of ribbons or tissue paper flower or something like that.

We're not. 2 of the readers are my siblings that are in the WP and the other is FI's sister. We just did bouts/corsages for FI, GMs, Ushers, Dads, and moms
