I have been super MIA lately. I don't even remember when was the last time I went on here and posted. The worst part is that I tell myself everyday, I have to get on TK to post yet it never happens.
Anyways here we go on a super long update.
First off, I went on vacation with the family for a week to the tristate area and it was awesome. Of course there were some instances where family bonds were tested but everything is good. lol
Second, I found a full time job! Yay! Love it
Third, my MOH came to FL for 2 weeks from Puerto Rico and we had a blast.
During her stay we were able to find her dress, bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses.
We found dresses at Davids Bridal.
The dresses look so much better in person than they do online. =/

And we went "flower shopping" for the entire first week! I did not know this could be so complicated.
Florist 1: Awesome. That is all I can say. I loved him, he seemed super excited about my ideas and was very concious(sp?) about my budget.
Florist 2: Was just scary. She probably does a great job but she was very unorganized and the shop was very dirty. The only pictures of her work she had to show me looked very dated.
Florist 3: First off this appointment was the longest ever!!! It lasted almost 3 hours. I was about to die. I was bored after an hour and a half and its my own wedding. Plus the florist got pissed off at me because I told her I did not want any roses in the bouquets. Oh and I have the vases I want to use for the centerpieces and she went crazy when I told her that. Needless to say that I don't really want any (additional) drama surrounding my day therefore NO DEAL.
Florist #4: Talk about blowing my budget. I expected this florist to be a little pricier but not 5 times as much! Crazy. But he does have a great office space, the only thing I did not like was the fact that it was just an office, there were no flowers so idk if he outsources it or if he does it himself.
Florist #5: This florist wasn't bad until there was some badmouthing of Florist #1. Florist #5 asked if I had gone to see anyone else and I told him that I met and reallly liked florist 1 and he said "oh well, I am better. He cannot compare to the quality of my flowers..blah blah." I felt a bit uncomfortable and even though he was about $50 cheaper than florist 1 I felt more of a connection with florist 1.
