Saturday 30DS & Challenges Accountability

Yay for the weekend!  How are the workouts going?  What did people think of level 2 on the 30DS?

  • Cheers to the freakin' weekend :) I really enjoyed level 2! All the plank moves are killer, but I really feel like it's giving me a full body work out--especially my arms--so I like it :)

    I am very much struggling with the push-up challenge. I attempted to do week 6 day 1 again (which I completed with ease last week) and couldn't get through it!! Fi thinks my muscles are maxed out and that I should go back to week 3 or 4 and build up again. That is what I will probably do. I REALLY want to do 100 push-ups :D

  • Alli- I would just take some time off from the push ups and try again next week. I am having the same issues!!!

    I did Day 11-Level 2 of the 30DS today...holy smokes...it was a killer!!! I liked level 1.... but level 2 is so much more intense and I feel like I am going to get SOOO much more out of it!!!! It totally kicked my butt though!!

    I will be doing the squat, sit up and dips challenges later today.

  • I'm only on Day 7 of the 30DS and I so can't wait for level 2!  I do feel like I'm pushing myself more during these last few days with level 1 so thats good!  My arms do still get tired a lot during the little raise things but I'm pushing through them more!

    Alli- I was having the same problem! I just gave up when I did the final test twice and could only get to 50. I think what your FI said might be right about the muscles being maxed out, that's what mine feel like too. My arms can't handle the 30DS everyday plus doing 100 push ups. But I did finish the 6 week and I'm happy with how much stronger I am! Good Luck, you can do it!

    I will be doing day 10 of level one today when I get home from work. I can't wait to move onto level 2 tomorrow! I'm glad everyone's liking it!


  • For me, level 2 seemed to start off okay.  Circuit 1 went by quick.  The other two I think tried to kill me.  Oh my goodness..all of the forms of the plank!  And those V raises with the weights?!  I thought my arms were going to fall off!

    I also will say that the limited space in my living room was more apparent with this level, and I really need to work on my balance!  Lots of little things that I know I will see improvement on as these workouts continue, and I am definitely excited to stick with it.

    Awesome job ladies!  Alli, you seriously know the meaning of perseverance!  Chelsea, good luck with your challenges tonight!  Pixie, I struggled with those too in level 1.  Jessica, enjoy your last day of level 1!  You will be missing it tomorrow, haha.
