I am headed to the dress shop in 45 minutes. I don't know how this will turn out, so I need all the luck I can get! I am hoping that I way overthought the issue and it will be simple.

So I went in and they felt horrible and knew exactly why I was there. It was like they were expecting me! They pretty much said not to worry about the messed up dress. She also said that they orderd the proper dress for exBM and I asked her to cancel it. She saids he probably could still, and I offered to pay the deposit if needed.

exBM completely blew everything out of proportion and I am glad I was prepared for the worst, it made the whole thing much better when it went smoothly.

As soon as I had the dress issue figured out I text exBM saying, "Don't worry about your dress, you won't be needing it. We are no longer friends due to the way you treated me last night. Friends don't treat people that way." She sent me 5 long messages blaming me for the whole thing and then the last one she said that she thinks she fixed the dress issue and I shouldn't have to worry about that extra dress. WTF?! She is one of those people that like to argue and blame the other person, and then pretty much tries to fix it.... No thanks. I didn't respond to any of them since she would enjoy arguing and it will annoy her to no end if I don't respond.

I can't believe how at peace I am after ending a 7 year friendship. I guess it was meant to be.

I'm glad everything worked out.  I can't believe that was her response; oh well.  I'm glad you handled everything well and seem to have come out of it in a better position.

I must have missed something about when you talked about this previously. Going to stalk your posts  but I am glad it all worked out with the store
