Engraving Wedding Bands?

Is anyone doing this? We just picked up FI's band today and it got me thinking I might want to surprise him with an engraving on his band for the wedding day. What are you going to have it say?

I had "forever & a day" engraved in his band because that's how we sign cards to each other. (I.e. Forever and a day, Jen or forever and a day, Andrew)

I would love to surprise engrave my FI's ring but his is too hard.

I would probably do something like "love you more 6-22-12".

we do that too! that is a super cute idea....we werent going to engrave them.... but now i kinda want to!!

I always joke with FI that I'm going to engrave his ring with "do not remove" lol I haven't decided if I'm actually going to do it though

We do this too!
I can't get mine engraved because it's an eternity band, but I'm surprising FI and getting his engraved. His will say, "My whole heart. My whole life."

I see "put me back on" or something like that a lot on the wedding boards.

I'm debating...initials and the date would be the classic route.  I considered 'My Sweet One," which is a song we like.  "Come waste your time with me." is a line from anther song that we love.  I was also thinking about the infinity sign and a +1, which si sort of a joke between us.

Funny this came up...I went by the jeweler's last weekend and got the name of the engraver they recommend.

I would like to engrave a sparty or a block MSU in his ring. Not very romantic, but he would love it.

I want to surprise FI with an engraving. I don't really know what I would put. Maybe our cute "love" saying or something. Our date will definitely be on it, no matter what else I decide on. I really like a picture I saw on Pinterest of the wife's fingerprint on the inside of the groom's ring, but I don't think that can be done on a Tungsten. I think they mold the ring with the fingerprint on it. If he didn't mind what metal, I would do this, but he really wants a Tungsten.

I am getting his engraved, with "You're My Favorite, 6-1-12"  It is something we say to each other all the time.

"Amore Eterno 6.4.12" is Italian for "everlasting love." He doesn't know yet, but it is a tribute to his Italian heritage.

I would like to pending on my budget. I got him a watch for his wedding gift and I had it engraved: My Teddybear 06-02-12

I would like to at least put the wedding date on his ring. Maybe it is something we can do after the wedding.

I was hoping we could engravings but we can't   I have an eternity band and he wanted a titanium ring, neither can be engraved.

I decided since we couldn't engrave the rings as part of his wedding gift I got him a keychain that has our wedding date and "soulbound" hand stamped on it. It makes me feel a little better about the rings, haha.
