I had my first trip dress shopping, designed our STDs, and ordered the STDs.

The only thing I succeeded in doing was raising my budget, haha. I sat down with an excel spreadsheet today and filled in the amounts we know for sure and estimates of other amounts and we were quickly WAY above where we wanted to be. So I cut and cut and cut and still ended up a little over, so that number became our new budget. We can afford it, but I would like to be spending a little less!

You ordered your save the dates already? When are you planning on sending them out, if you dont mind me asking? I was thinking of October for mine because I have many OOT guests coming. Is sooner better?

I checked into candleholders and found that the ones I thought were discontinued are just temporarily out of stock (9" cylinder glass holders from Dollar Tree in case anyone else was freaking out). Yay! I also went through all the candles we bought a couple months ago and found out that 15 out of 72 are broken...ugh. Hopefully the company will replace them or help us out in some way.

But, the best part of the weekend was talking to my FMIL about wedding plans. Until this weekend, I haven't really talked to anyone about our plans and I normally don't have much to talk to her about so it was especially great to get her input.

Researched more venues, figured out their pricing, got really frustrated.   That's all I've got done this week.

I found out that I won my Save the Dates on Friday (if you aren't on the blogs, get on them!).

I also did a test run for my DIY table numbers and it turned out well.  I'm gong to do them over the coruse of the week (not that I know how many tables I'll have, but I can guess).

I also bought supplies for making large, moss covered letters.  I'm going to make our first initials and put them on the door of the venue.

We researched venues and did some visiting.  Think we have one picked out.. just waiting to make sure we can come to terms on the catering, but if so--it's a go!

Vistaprint gave me a coupon that was good only over the weekend so I got free STDs and free uploads (so I paid $5 for everything with shipping).  I'm sending them out in mid-July because we will have a good number of OOT guests as well as a Friday wedding.  October (8 months out) is fine to send them, we just wanted to jump on it earlier mostly because of the Friday date.

I made a trip down to a bridal consignment store that not only sold dresses, but also sold BM dresses, slips, veils, centerpieces, shoes and jewelry. I didn't buy anything, but it was worth the trip :-)

This weekend, I spent a ton of time on Vistaprint creating invitations, direction cards, RSVP cards, photoshare cards, address labels, place cards and directional lawn signs. I also bought a deal off Tippr for $15 and will be getting $60 worth of stuff off Vistaprint!

I browsed tons of photos and figured out how I want my cake to look and finally decided on the flower arrangements we are going to make for the wedding ceremony.

Only thing wedding related I did was go to a bridal show.  We decided on our DJ, so I will be contacting him today to get the contract and put the deposit down.

I didn't do much at all, just toyed around with our website and started designing some stationery on Vistaprint.

We sent in the contract and deposit for the venue! Officially June 19th!

I caught this deal from VP last October so we ordered ours then and we absolutely love them!

My check for the week- Paid off and picked up our rings while we were in Jersey over the weekend!
