When are you getting your final haircut?

For my June 16th wedding, I'm wondering if it's okay to get my hair cut as early as April 28th.  Is that too soon?  My other option is to wait until May 19th.  The reason I'm choosing these two dates is because they're the dates of my bridal showers - so I can make an appointment to get my hair cut & styled to look nice at my shower!  This woudn't be a problem if I knew how to do my own hair...

I got my haircut a little over 2 months before the wedding date. I had planned on going again closer to the wedding, but the girl who cut my hair said curls hold better on slightly damaged ends. So I'm not going to get it cut again.

Two weeks prior... I've got an appointment for a trim and color (because, dammit, I will have no gray hair in my pictures!)

I think this might depend on how long your hair is!

I have pretty long hair. I'm getting it cut a month before my wedding (also June 16!).

My stylist actually said he wants to cut it soon so I'm doing it this Friday. He said it should be fine for my wedding on June 22 but if not he will just do another quick trim.

I am getting my highlights redone and a trim the last week of May. I am getting married June 16 as well.

Well, I was just thinking that, like, my mom has really short hair and she has to get it cut every 6 weeks or it starts to look too long. But I have long hair, and I normally can go a few months between haircuts without much noticeable difference. So if you have short hair, you might need to get it cut closer to the date in order for it to look ok.

Exactly one week before; not for length reasons but because my split ends get out of control if I don't trim every 2-3 weeks. It just happens to fall on June 1st for me...

I'm getting mine cut and colored on May 12 and my date is June 9th.

Im getting mine cut May 26th and I'm getting married June 16. I'm getting mine colored June 9th because color doesnt hold well in my hair and I also refuse to have any gray on my wedding day.

I am getting the ends of my hair trimmed and my highlights sometimes in the last week of May (wedding is June 9). I can't wait to get back from the honeymoon and get a ton of my hair cut off-I've been growing it out forever!

I am getting a haircut, color, and highlights all on May 8th.  On June 26th (four days before), I am going to get my color and highlights "freshened up."  If it needs trimme at this point, that will happen.

Then, on July 3rd, I'm chopping off all this long hair and going back to my normal chin-to-shoulder length hair!  (Haha. I can't wait!)

Cut Saturday, color May 12, and a trim the Thursday before...just in case it needs a touchup, which it may not.

I had it cut back in February and I spoke to the woman who did that about my hair concerns leading up to the wedding along with what style I was planning on doing.  She said I shouldn't cut it again before the wedding.

Then when I had my hair trial, that stylist said the same thing, that I should just continue to let it do its thing until the wedding.  I have thick shoulder length wavy (but not good waves - I straighten every day) hair.  I'm doing a messy, criss-cross up-do though, so the woman said the more volume my hair has, the better (I usually get it thinned when I get a trim).

After saying that, I can not wait to chop off my hair after the wedding.  It is already bugging the hell out of me and takes forever to blow-dry and straighten in the morning.

I'm leaving my hair shortish and not worried about putting it up so I'll be getting it cut 1-2 weeks before the wedding.

I had mine cut two weekends ago. I don't plan to cut it again before the wedding, for a couple of reasons. 1. I want my hair to be as long as possible. 2. I'm having an updo so it doesn't matter what my ends look like. My date is June 30th.

I want mine as long as possible.   I'm going to talk to my stylist at my trial may 26.  I have cut and highlights scheduled for May 30 (11 days before) but I might cancel the cut and just get highlights depending on what she says. I just got it trimmed last week.

I'm getting mine done 2 weeks before the wedding. My hair is very thin and fine and if I don't get it cut, it becomes bulky and heavy on the bottom.

I just got my haircut this past Friday and I won't be getting one again for a very long time. So annoyed. I asked for the bare minimum and she said she's only take off about 3/4 of an inch...apparently she meant 3-4 INCHES!!! Now my hair is pretty much the same length as it was for my engagement pictures...8 months ago. BOO.

This is what I'm saying!  I color my own so I'm coloring it either one or two weeks prior to the wedding...probably one week since my gray shows up so quick.  I'll probably trim it three weeks prior to the wedding.

I'm cutting mine a week before. My hair grows like weeds though and is very long, so much earlier it wouldn't be healthy looking.

I just got mine cut and colored yesterday but I will probably do it again 1 week before so it will be fresh without grown out roots and I am getting my nails done on June 4th since I am having an OOT wedding June 9th and she will touch up anything on my hair that i need at that time.

My stylist for the wedding is in CA. She did my latest highlight and correction about a week ago. We will do the final touch-up and cut the Wednesday before the wedding so its how she wants it to be to style on Saturday.
