Fitness group check in!

How has everyone been doing?

I dropped the ball this week but my FI has been sick so I've been taking care of him a lot.  I just have to do more later this week (when he's better) and next week.

  • I've been sticking to my Ideal Protein diet and I measured myself and lost 3 1/2 inches off my stomache in just 3 days! I'm excited!! :)

  • Ugh...I need to get on top of things. With FI's graduation in 3 1/2 weeks and then going to see my entire extended family on my mom's side in July, I really want to look and feel great...but I need to actually do something to make this happen.

    I had been doing so good tracking my calories on Livestrong, but I fell off that bandwagon. I really need to get back on and get on the exercise train as well! These 15ish lbs. aren't going to lose themself!!
  • I have been doing good with my eating for the last couple of months.  Now that eating right is becoming easier, I need to try to put some focus on getting exercise in regularly. 

    I'm having a hard time getting/staying motivated to exercice, so over the weekend I decided on my exercise goal for the week and wrote them down.  In order to try to keep myself motivated, I designated a weekly reward if I achieve my weekly goal.  They are little things, but after 4 weeks of making my goal, it's a bigger reward, like a massage!!!  I'm also hoping the fact that I decided on my dress will help keep me motivated.  I keep imagining myself in my dress looking fit and trim!!!   Hopefully both of these things will work!!!

    How do you girls keep motivated?

  • I have been doing great with the eating right. I love making good decisions for my body and the way I feel.

    I have up'ed my milage over the past couple of weeks and my "bad" knee (had surgery 2 years ago" is acting up :( I don't know if I need new running shoes (possibly) or what so I am going to ease back on my mileage this week. Hope it helps.

  • I've been off the wagon for a couple of weeks now, and it's that time of the month so my cravings are out of control.

    The good news is that it's my last week of work, so I can focus on ME this summer - getting back on track, and hopefully getting into a doable routine/plan with both exercise and food that I can carry into the school year.

  • I have been doing sooo horribly, it's actually getting depressing! I have no motivation whatsoever.. help me out girls!! What keeps you all going and actually WORKS?? Lately I just cannot convince myself to get off the couch.. I have no energy at all, and I know it's because I'm being lazy - I'm in a slump!! :(

    I know how you feel! It took me a little bit to get up and going. However, I realized summer is almost here, we're doing e-pics in September and in no time our WEDDING will be here! I look at pictures of wedding dresses to keep me motivated and remember what my ultimate goal is. GOOD LUCK!
