Dress shopping experience

Today was an interesting experience dress shopping to say the least.  I went with my mom, FMIL, and a BM.  The store was smaller than I expected (and was told) but I tried on basically every dress they had that I would fit in (no more than 20).  I found a few that I liked but I didn't buy one yet.  So far the leading contender is this dress (clicky).

And to think I originally was thinking lace...

I was originally thinking lace myself, but found myself liking silk/satin dresses, too.  I think I wrote a thread about it...basically, only 1 dress matched the style/fabric that I originally thought I wanted.

BTW, what in the world are they making that poor model do on that website?  There's a lace cap on her head and she was making "guns" in one of the pictures.  The dress is beautiful, but they're doing some funny things with it!!!

LOL.  I agree!  The dress looks a lot better in person but when I found the site to post it this is what they had and it made me laugh for a bit.

OMG, I know, so funny!  FI is sitting with me on the couch and he was like "What?!"  I told him to look past the lace bathing cap!  The dress is gorgeous though- love the bodice and the lace back!!!  Let us know when you find "the one!"

20 is a lot of dresses to try on at one place!  I've tried on about 20 altogether between 4 different places.

I love the lace back too!  Very pretty.  Keep us posted on your decision

Very Pretty! Go shopping again and see if you can "beat" that dress. if you keep comparing the others to this dress, then this is it! (thats how I did it, nothing "beat" my dress!)

very pretty! I tried on 8 I think my first time going out. my second time will be this weekend! good luck when you go out again! If that dress is still on your mind and you keep picturing your self walking down the isle and comparing others to it.. then thats THE ONE!
