Okay so this is probably going to be a lot of rambling BUT here goes.. Last night a knottie posted the Michael's coupons for this weekend. I decided I would go out today with one of my BMs and see if I could find anything, just as my first "DIY purchase." Well. I fell in love with the Cricut. No, not the personal, but the Expression. The personal was already out of my price range, so of course the Expression was too at $400! And the Michael's coupons are no good on Cricut products. I was bummed - but I ended up getting a Martha Stewart scoring board and a scrapbook for my guestbook.
Fast forward to about.. fifteen minutes ago. I decided to check ebay out and see if they had any used Cricuts. I came across an Expression with a few cartidges (about $90/each) and the software so that I'm able to create virtually any shape - with the bid at $160. I've never won a bid in my life (or anything for that matter) but I figured I'd give it a go. I went back & forth in the last few minutes but ended up winning the bid and getting myself a brand new Cricut for only $180!!
I'm sure this isn't the least bit exciting to any of you, but as soon as I won I screamed into FI in the other room, then told him I had to tell all my knot girls!! haha!
