Show Me Your Guest Book!

Figuring out what to do for a guest book for our reception is one of the last things I have left on my to do list. I want to do something that is unique but I keep putting it off because every time I try to think of something awesome, I totally draw creative blanks!

Can you please either show me what yours looks like or tell me about it? I need some inspiration!! :-)

We wanted to do something a bit more unique too, so we're having vintage Iowa postcards for people to write a short message on, and then they'll put it in a cute mailbox.  My dad just retired from being a mailman for 30+ years, and FI wrote love notes to me on postcards early on in our relationship, so it's fitting.   I'm getting the postcards from the Etsy seller Bursts of Creativity.

We are doing a wish jar... I found an antique blue mason jar and we'll put out cards for people to write on.

I'm doing a fingerprint tree. I used brown colored pencil on canvas and it turned out really really nice. We will hang it in our living room.

We bought a few terra cotta plant pots for guests to sign and then we will plant stuff in them this summer.

I just made my guestbook last night. I'm having guests sign paper "leaves" that I'll glue to a posterboard after the wedding and hang on the wall. Here's a picture. 

What will be at the wedding; guests will sign the leaves.

Finished Product- only all the leaves will have signatures

We did a message in a bottle guestbook; we have mad libs and some cute lined paper that says "Leave your well wishes for the Mr. & Mrs." We will open them on our anniversary.

This is what we're doing too. I wanted something we would actually look back at through the years, so a book full of pictures of us throughout our relationship (we've been together almost seven years) fit the bill :)

I don't have a pic, but we know what we are doing.  since we are having a DW in Maui, we are going to get a whole bunch of postcards when we get there, and then have them addressed....people then fill them out with their message and at the end of the event, we collects them all, stamp them and mail them to us so when we get home, we have all sorts of postcards from Maui!  So excited for this!

We are doing a huge frame/matte with our engagement picture. Once we get back our wedding photos we can switch the picture out if we want.

We decided to have everyone sign an acoustic guitar since FI and I are both very into music and play guitar. My father bought it for us, he also bought me my first guitar. This is a mini version of the guitar he bought me when I was 13

I just ordered our guest book from Morgann Hill on Etsy - I am in looooooooooooove!!! There are different books with different anniversaries on them. Guests pick a book and write a message for us to read on that anniversary. Here's what it looks like:

We are doing guest mad libs.  I'll have them all out on a table for everyone to fill out and eventually we'll put them into a photo album that can hold 5x7 pictures.
