Hey ladies! I had a busy day with the thrift store and a DIY project. I found this plaque for $3 that I really like and want to give Greg, but I'm afraid it's a little too girly to give a guy?
My sis says since it would probably go in his bedroom it's okay, plus he needs to get used to having more girly things around... lol! I just love it because it's exactly how I feel about him. Plus we have a butterfly themed wedding, so there you go!
Also, I made a hair clip flower out of guitar picks! I got a dozen picks for $5 at Guitar Center. Left five of them the color they came (blue; Greg's fav!) and pained the other five with copper colored nailpolish. They look like they're made out of copper which is fun! Total cost for the project was around $10 since I had to buy a bag of beads and of clips, but if I did it again it'd just be $5 for the picks.
Finally, I also got this for my mom from the thrift store:
She has a birdhouse theme in her house so I thought it was perfect. I think I need to put it in a new frame though; do you think that will be hard? It feels weird to give something like that if I didn't make it myself, but I guess there's no reason not to since it's so pretty. It cost me $8.
