NWR: Bedding for our spare room. Which one?

Our spare room is really bright. I have to paint it because it is blinding if the sun is shining. (They painted it pale yellow.) I bought a can of paint and it is a lighter moss green/darker spring green. I love a lot of color. FI has black shelves that hold his movies and games in there and the trim will be white/cream. The bed is a cream color and has a matching dresser. Which one would you pick? I will use the sheets that come with it for curtains. (They are not to my standards and I need curtains anyway. Score!!

It's hard to tell what it will really look like without the paint color, but I really prefer the purple comforter.  I love the purple/green combo, but again it's hard to tell if it'll be good without seeing the green you've got on the walls.

I vote the purple one but I might be a little bias because my shower curtain is the same!! lol if it helps my bathroom is gray (similar shade to the flowers on the curtain) with white trim and black furniture (ie the vanity, medicine cabinet, mirror ect) and it looks great!

I like the purple, but with green walls I would go with the black option.

I would pick the purple one. The black would make the room too dark, and the purple would just add more color. Plus it matches well with shades of green.

I like the purple one better, but I'd be concerned that it would end up being too much with a green wall color.  I would go with the black and white one since you said there's black shelves and white trim, it would tie everything together and still showcase the color of the paint on the wall.

I like the black one better because you could always spice it up with colorful pillows and curtains.  I know you said you wanted to use the sheets as curtains, but if you need a pop of color you can find something else.

I like the black one personally, but black and white are my colors so I may be a little bit biased. In either case I love the pattern!

I like the black one better.  It will go with the shelves and help tone down the room brightness more. 

Random question: what kind of paint did you get?  If it's a flat base it will help tone down the brightness too.  If it's satin or eggshell it will enhance it by letting the light bounce around more.
